Abstract

Learning model used should be student-centered learning and adapted to the material learned, but the
situation on the ground indicate different things. Students tend to be passive and less chance to explore
independently. As a result, mastery of concepts and problem solving skills of physics students is low.
Guided inquiry learning model-assisted interactive website can be an alternative learning model applied,
because it motivate the students to be active in the learning process so they can actively and creatively
construct knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the mastery of concepts
and problem solving skills of students before and after the guided inquiry learning model assisted
interactive website applied on the topic of direct current electricity. This study use “randomized control
group pretest posttest experimental design” with a sample of ten grade in one of High School in Kuningan.
The results showed that the mastery of concepts and problem solving skills after guided inquiry learning
model-assisted interactive website apllied increased significantly. Based on the results of statistical data
analysis obtained an average N-gain of mastery concept 0.47 for the experimental class and 0.37 for
control class, N-gain of problem-solving skill 0.33 for the experimental class, and 0.26 for the control
class. So can be concluded that guided inquiry learning model-assisted interactive website can further
enhance the mastery of concepts and problem solving skills compared with students in guided inquiry
learning without interactive website.
